Welcome, my name is Erin!

What I value most about being a therapist is the quiet, steady trust that builds when someone feels truly seen. That’s where growth and healing begin. The meaningful, one-of-a-kind connections I build with each client is what keeps this work alive and personal. I feel fortunate to be in a profession that lets me be present in people’s stories and witness their resilience up close.

Next Steps

Not sure what to expect? Let’s clear that up!

Beginning your counseling journey might feel overwhelming, but know that you’re not alone. I believe building safety within the therapeutic relationship takes time, so we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you.

AREAS OF FOCUS

Guiding You Toward Healing and Growth

Helping you find your footing and build a stronger, more balanced version of yourself. Life can be tough, but you don’t have to do it alone — let’s figure it out together.

Women’s Mental Health

Women, LGBTQIA, and gender nonconforming individuals face unique emotional, psychological, and physical challenges, often shaped by societal expectations, identity-based stress, or experiences of marginalization. My approach is affirming and trauma-informed, while considering your intersectional identities and how they’ve shaped you.

Interpersonal Trauma

When harm comes from the people we’re meant to love and trust, it can leave deep emotional scars. It often impacts our ability to feel safe, to trust others, and even ourselves. At your own pace, we can begin to process these experiences and reconnect with your sense of strength.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by past experiences, ART is a structured, evidence-based approach that can help process distressing memories quickly to reduce their emotional intensity. Using a combination of eye movements and guided imagery, ART aims to help the brain process and reframe traumatic memories in a way that may reduce emotional distress.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT helps you respond to difficult thoughts and emotions with more openness, rather than trying to avoid or control them. It combines mindfulness, self-compassion, and values-based action to support you in making choices that align with who you want to be. Over time, this approach can help you feel more grounded and flexible, even when life feels overwhelming or uncertain.

MAP welcomes Erin! Her clinical experience and passion are focused on women’s mental health challenges, spanning from interpersonal trauma to concerns such as self-esteem, identity, body image, anxiety, depression, and grief.
